The head is large with a broad skull, a short muzzle and a tenacious set of jaws. The forehead is slightly arched and the stop is moderate. The nose is wide and has large nostrils. The teeth meet in a level or undershot bite. The ears are usually cropped medium length, lobe and bell; if un-cropped a natural drop ear is allowed. The neck is thick and the shoulders are wide. The chest is deep, broad and heavily muscled. The top line is straight and the tail is wide at the base tapering down and ending at the hocks. The Ambullneo's lateral movement is unsurpassed by dogs of this size. The Ambullneo's thick bone and rippling muscles give the appearance of great strength.
This highly intelligent K9 loves to please his master at any number of tasks. These dogs are very sensitive to the tone of your voice and need someone to speak with assertiveness, but not harshly. It is not a difficult dog but does require a handler who can assert his authority. The Ambullneo would give his life for his family. Early socialization is a must. They should be obedience trained at an early age. It is important to establish pack leadership and be able to read your dog’s actions and body language.
